Shaheer Hussam, Associate  

Shaheer Hussam is an Associate with Commons Capital.  Prior to Commons Capital, Shaheer worked in the Energy Practice at ICF Consulting. Mr. Hussam has also worked at green design consultancy, assisting on various LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) projects. For senior project work, Mr. Hussam designed a photovoltaic power system for a school in rural Haiti, and assisted on the development of a gravity-fed biosand water filtration system. Mr. Hussam has also worked as a programmer at VCampus, an online educational services company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hussam interned at the Uniformed Services University for the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, working on computational modeling of steroid receptor proteins. Mr. Hussam has an S.B. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, where he was also a Burchard Scholar. [email protected]
