Niaz Karim, Analyst

Niaz Karim joined Commons Capital in June 2004. His work spans all four of Commons Capital’s investment sectors (energy, environment, education, healthcare), with a focus on research and analysis during the due diligence process. Previously, Niaz did applied mathematics research at the Weizmann Institute of Science and medical research at both the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. He has also worked at Fleet Securities and on development projects in Kosovo and the Republic of Congo. Niaz has a BA in economics from Dartmouth College.
